The 24-year old company, based in Spring, Texas offering full-service voice and data installation, audio visual installation and integration now offers the ability for customers to protect their assets with a new physical security division.

The security division offers the installation integration and service of   access control, video surveillance and recording, intrusion detection and monitoring.

“With the convergence of audio/visual and security to I/T network integration,” said Dale Pearson, Vice President of Electra Link, Inc., “it was a natural path for Electra Link to pull security under our umbrella.”

The new security team has combined experience of nearly 75 years.  This, along with the over 2 decades of voice and data experience make for a solid foundation for this division to reap growth and success.   The security division has kicked off its beginning by landing and completing a perimeter video surveillance installation at Shell Gasmer Prototype Facility.

It also combined efforts with Electra Link's Audio/Visual team, recently completing a million dollar project at the Texas A&M Association of Former Students.  This included the installation of a burglar intrusion system, CCTV and a state of the art 26 foot video wall.  Numerous training rooms, conference rooms and boardrooms were also in the scope of work.

Four years ago, Electra Link launched its A/V installation and integration division.  Following the same conservative business model attributed to Electra Link’s initial success, the A/V group has grown from a 3 person operation with a few small jobs to ten full-time employees.  The Texas A&M project along with various schools and churches are just several, million dollar jobs completed by Electra Link's A/V group.

“Our philosophy is simple and has been since day one.  Treat your people well and approach every customer the same, whether they have a 1 drop job or 5000 drops. Treat them with respect, give them more than they expect at a good value,” said Ernie D’Antoni, President and founder of Electra Link, Inc.

Electra Link, Inc. was founded in 1985 as a two-man operation working and warehousing out of a garage in Spring.  Today, the multi-million dollar company has experienced consistent growth.  Over 350 full-time employees are spread out in offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio; servicing Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and customers throughout the U.S.

A few of Electra Link’s highly respected clients include Hewlett-Packard, Austin Independent School District, Houston Community College, Rice University, Dow Chemical, Oracle, Fed Ex Kinko’s, St. Luke’s Hospital, and Transocean.
